Wow! That was some impressive rain that moved through today-felt like someone was soaking me with a garden hose when I went to check the mail this morning.
The steadiest rain is moving into the Maritimes late this afternoon, but we will stay overcast and damp during the overnight hours.
This weekend a frontal boundary will slow down and stall across Northern New England, which means we're in for an overcast sky on Saturday with scattered showers (along with a scattered thundershower or two.) I do think we will see just a few breaks of sun on Sunday, but it's certainly fair to call the weekend mostly cloudy and damp at times.
No major change for Monday-Tuesday, as that stalled-out front will continue to influence (a negative influence, for sure!) our weather pattern.
