It's been a blue sky, pleasant February day across Maine, with temperatures into the 30s to around 40. Enjoy the sunshine tomorrow, because once Wednesday arrives we won't see much of the sun for several days. Here's the deal:
Starting Wednesday we will fall under the influence of low pressure from the plain states, along with another low to our south-southwest. This weather system will bring increasing clouds Wednesday, with snow and mixed precipitation sliding into our region later in the day. We will remain under the influence of low pressure for the remainder of the week, with a combination of snow and rain at times each day depending on where the daily rain/snow line sets-up. So....prepare for some messy conditions as we close-out the month of February.
