The clouds will continue to clear out of the area and drier air moves in for the rest of today. Highs today will stay at about where they are now, in the middle to upper 30s north and in the low 40s south. Winds will be a bit breezy and out of the northwest at 10 to 15 mph.
Overnight we'll see mostly clear conditions with cold temperatures dropping into the mid to upper teens and low 20s.
Things remain cold tomorrow, with highs only able to make it into the low to mid 30s across the state. We will see lots of sunshine for the day as the high pressure moves closer to us.
For the remainder of the week temperatures slowly try to creep back up and by Friday they'll make it into the upper 30s and lower 40s. Things stay sunny for Thursday but clouds move back in by Friday. Overnight lows this week will stay cold, never making it out of the 20s.
We're watching a low that looks like it could move in on Sunday and bring us some snow (finally). It's very early to talk about certainty but of course we'll keep you update as it gets later in the week. The timing as of right now looks like it could last Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon and bring some solid amounts of snowfall to the area. Again, it's very early, but it's fun to hope. (I love snow if you couldn't tell!)
Have a great day. Stay warm tonight.
