After some snowy streets early this morning, much of the day has featured rain, snow and some sleet. The combination of precipitation has created some sloppy and slick streets across the Pine Tree State. An approaching cold front will bring some additional precipitation tonight, so conditions will remain quite unpleasant for folks on the roadways (and sidewalks too!)
We will begin our Tuesday with clouds and snow showers as the front continues to slide to our east; behind the front the sky will brighten as northwest breezes steer some drier air into our neighborhoods. Once that front departs, high pressure will take over our weather pattern, so expect a generous amount of sunshine for Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday and most of Thursday as well.
