Snowmobile Ride-in benefits Pine Tree Camp

NEWPORT, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- The town of Newport hosted its 41st annual Snowmobile Ride-in this morning. Dozens of riders and supporters came out to raise money for the Pine Tree Camp- which is a week-long summer camp in Belgrade- for children and adults with special needs. All proceeds from the ride-in go directly to the Campership Fund that ensures that no camper is turned away if they are unable to pay.

Twin brothers die in same fairground 2 years apart

DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A family in the Dover-Foxcroft area is mourning the loss of James Curtis, 48,  who died in a snowmobile crash at the Piscataquis Valley Fairgrounds earlier this week. But that is only the latest in a string of tragedies for the Curtis family.   In all, three brothers have died in a span of a little more than two years.
