(NEWS CENTER) -- The Maine State Employees Association is asking for a meeting with Governor Paul LePage to discuss what plans there are for a possible partial shutdown of State government, if a new 2-year budget can't be arrived at by July 1, the beginning of the fiscal year.

But the LePage administration says there is no plan, so there'll be no meeting; at least for now.

Meanwhile, rumors abound over whether a prominent democrat will challenge LePage in the 2014 election.

We discuss these topics and more with NEWSCENTER political analysts, republican Phil Harriman and democrat Ethan Strimling.
