Both teams struggled from the field in the opening ten minutes, with the visitors managing to hold an 8-2 advantage following a Loggins lay-in with 10:15 remaining in the first half. Keyed by consecutive three-pointers from Kaitlin Donahoe, Kirsten Prue and Megan Phelps, the Polar Bears warmed and went on a 21-4 run over the next seven minutes to take a 23-12 advantage with under three minutes left in the stanza. The Golden Knights were able to hold Bowdoin scoreless over the final three minutes and scored the final four points of the half to make it 23-16 at intermission.

Bowdoin put the contest out of reach early in the second half, opening the period on a 17-4 run, forcing ten points off of Golden Knight turnovers to take a 40-20 lead. The Polar Bears shot 47% from the field in the second half, extending their lead to 31 points at the final buzzer.
