HARRISON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- It took firefighters from nine different communities to knock down a two-alarm fire that broke out at a home in Harrison early Saturday morning.

The fire was reported around 6:45 a.m.  Harrison Assistant Fire Chief Jeff Murphy says crews responded to the home located on Cape Monday Road, and the fire was knocked down within an hour.

Fire officials say three people were home at the time of the fire, but they all made it out safely and there were no injuries.

Asst. Chief Murphy says the home was heavily damaged, but part of the structure still might be able to be saved.

There's no word yet on what caused the fire.  Murphy says the State Fire Marshal's Office will pick up the investigation beginning Monday.
