(NBC News) - Top administration officials head to Capitol Hill today to make the case for military action in Syria.
Secretary of State John Kerry will tell lawmakers that if we don't punish Syria for using chemical weapons Iran, Hezbollah and Al Qaeda may see that as a green light to attack.
Kerry and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel head to Capitol Hill this afternoon for briefings, but some lawmakers say that's not enough.
"We need the President to come to us and say 'Here is what we are going to do. Here is how we are going to do it. Here are the goals we hope to achieve. Here is how we will know we have achieved them," argues Kansas' Representative Mike Pompeo.
