PONTIAC, Michigan (WDIV) - The parents of a 2-year-old girl who fell out the window of a house in Pontiac, Michigan have been charged with neglect.

Matthew McIntosh, 21, and Mattie McCann, 22, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree child neglect at their arraignment Tuesday.

They are accused of leaving their daughter home alone Sunday.

She was found by neighbors after the fall, wearing only a diaper.

The two are out on bond and ordered not to have contact with their daughter.

If convicted, they could spend up to a year in jail or five years of probation.

Police said the two don't have previous criminal histories.

The child is in the care of a relative.
