What is the opening line to The Aeneid by Virgil?

Virgil was born on Oct. 15, 70 B.C.

Of course, the quote we used from his masterpiece is only one translation of the original Latin text.

The "man" about whom Virgil wrote was Aeneas.  He was a survivor of the Trojan War whose search for a new home led him to become the founder of Rome.
