a. Wade Boggs

Petrocelli was born on June 27, 1943.  He started out at shortstop before making the transition to third.

Petrocelli retired in 1976, but still ranks 5th among all third basemen for best fielding percentage.  Three of the players ahead of him are listed in the stumper question.  The fourth was Floyd Baker.  He played for 13 years and spent parts of the 1953 and '54 seasons in Boston.

Boggs makes the list for fielding percentage at number 43.
