d. William Howard Taft

The majority of presidents have been clean shaven.

Abraham Lincoln was the first President to grow a full beard.  And for the next 50 years, all but two Presidents had some sort of facial hair, the exceptions being Andrew Johnson and William McKinley.

The streak ended when Taft left office in 1913 and no other President has worn facial hair since.
