LISBON (NEWS CENTER)--Police say the claim by Renee Cartier that she was sexually assaulted and held against her will last week at Town and Country Village was not true.
Cartier says she was held for nearly three days. When she called police for help, state police tactical teams and local police were called in.
Cartier has four charges against her including drug possession and filing a false report.
Police say Cartier was not held hostage by anyone because she cashed several checks during that time period, and there was no sign of sexual assault.
Police also say they want her to pay the cost of bringing in a tactical team when it wasn't needed.
