BRUNSWICK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- All this week, the U.S. has commemorated the 150th anniversary of the Civil War Battle of Gettysburg which took place July 1-3, 1863.

150 years ago today, the Confederacy reached what is called its "high water mark" before being repelled during Pickett's charge.

The commemoration of this battle has prompted renewed interest in Maine's greatest Civil War hero Joshua Chamberlain.

NEWS CENTER Chief Photojournalist Steve Sherburne takes us on a tour of Chamberlain's Brunswick home, which is now a museum maintained by the Pejepscot Historical Society.
