BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- The man police say was behind Friday afternoon's stand-off in Bangor made his first appearance in court. Harold Rodgers appeared before the judge via satellite from Penobscot County jail.
Rodgers is charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated criminal mischief. Both felony charges. The Bangor man was arrested Friday evening after a stand-off with police where he threatened suicide.
The judge did not have Rodgers enter a plea on either count. Rodgers is due back in court in early July.
