ROCKLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - A couple who runs a consignment boutique in Rockland is organizing a donation drive to benefit the 75 people who lost their homes in Monday's fire in Lewiston.

Laurie Campbell and Josh Boyer run Sweet Peas Consignment Boutique on Union Street in Rockland. In an email, Laurie says the store serves everyone in the community with low cost infant, childrens' and adult clothing. They also stock maternity clothes, furniture and accessories.

Laurie says the shop regularly participates in charity causes and has a previously planned trip to Lewiston slated for Thursday (5/2).

In an effort to help victims of Monday's fire, Sweet Peas Consignment Boutique will be open until 7 PM Wednesday to collect donations to bring to Lewiston.

Laurie and Josh say they're looking for anything that might help a person rebuild her home.

Sweet Peas is located at 150 Union Street in Rockland at the intersection with Willow Street.
