AUGUSTA, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police from Newtown, Connecticut will share their stories at a conference here in Maine.
The emergency preparedness conference runs Tuesday and Wednesday at the Augusta Civic Center.
Officers will talk about their reaction to the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, which left 27 people dead.
There will also be a wide range of workshops and information sessions on dealing with just about any conceivable hazard.
Mainers who responded to Superstorm Sandy will also address the conference, which is expected to draw 500 participants.
