Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - Nate Robinson netted the go-ahead bucket with
22.7 seconds remaining to lift the Chicago Bulls to a 92-90 victory over the
Brooklyn Nets on Thursday.
Carlos Boozer had a team-high 29 points and 18 rebounds for the Bulls, who
were coming off a 90-86 loss in Washington on Tuesday. Luol Deng added 18
points and Jimmy Butler had 16 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.
With the win, Chicago moved within 1 1/2 games of Brooklyn for the fourth spot
in the Eastern Conference standings. Both the Bulls and Nets have already
clinched playoff berths.
Deron Williams had a game-high 30 points and 10 assists, while Joe Johnson
tallied 12 points for the Nets, who finished an eight-game road trip with a
113-95 win in Cleveland on Wednesday.
Brook Lopez finished with 28 points, but missed a potential game-tying jumper
with one second remaining.
