NEWPORT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Voters in RSU 19 have approved a loan to close a shortfall in the district's school budget.
Friday night's vote was 1,815 in favor and 1,634 against. It passed in six of eight towns, only Saint Albans and Hartland voted against it.
This was the third time that voters had considered a loan, the other two times they rejected it.
