Snow and sub-zero temperatures are fairly common features of our weather here in Maine during the month of January, and it appears that is just what we are in for over the next several days. As far as snowfall goes, York and Cumberland county will likely see accumulating snow tonight into tomorrow morning as a trough influences the weather pattern in Southern Maine. Other than a few flurries, I don't think we will see any accumulating snow in the Greater Bangor area.

The rest of the week will bring quiet, but very cold conditions. In fact, get ready for wind chills below zero Wednesday and Thursday. Brrrrrr!

Next best chance for snowfall across Maine? Later Friday into Friday night as an area of low pressure tracks our way.

By the way, is it wrong to stay warm by burning my Patriots jersey?
