BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - A Bangor man is being charged with aggravated assault after trying to convince police he was attacked.

29-year-old Christopher Stone, of Bangor, called 911 on Wednesday saying that he was attacked by two men and a woman at a home on Acadia Place. He claimed they had three knives and brass knuckles.

Police say when they found Stone, he had a field hockey stick. He told police that he was attacked over a cell phone.
