SOUTH BERWICK (NEWS CENTER) - Marshwood continued their improbable run to the Class 'B' championship game after a 21-20 win over York in the Western Maine regional final.

The Hawks took the lead midway through the fourth on  Cam Roll QB keeper, only for the Wildcats to answer on their ensuing drive.

The Benjamin Lawlor's ensuing extra point was good, but an illegal formation penalty forced a re-kick from fives yards back. The second try went off the right upright with under three minutes to play.

Marshwood would run out the rest of the clock.

The Hawks will face the lone Class 'B' unbeaten Mt. Blue in the state final next Saturday at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.
