BRIDGTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Bridgton Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a stabbing that occured Thursday night in Portland.
Police say 21-year-old Justin Renna was arrested Friday night just before 8 p.m. in Bridgton, and was later taken into custody by Portland Police.
Authorities had been looking for Renna after they found 37-year-old James Hurd from Windham lying in front of a Front Street building in Portland Thursday night with a stab wound to his back. He was treated at Maine Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses told police Renna fled on foot after assaulting Hurd. Renna was also wanted on two outstanding warrants for refusing to submit to arrest and violating conditions of release for domestic violence assualt.
