Plenty of sunshine today, but brisk northerly breezes kept us well below average with regard to our high temperature (we should be in the upper 40s this time of year, we missed that mark by about ten degrees!)

Tomorrow will get off to a tame start, with brisk conditions and plenty of sunshine. As low pressure tracks our way from the south, look for increasing clouds on Wednesday, with some snow and mixed precipitation arriving Wednesday night.  Low pressure will eventually track to south and east, and as it tracks through look for snow, sleet and mixed precipitation Wednesday night into early Thursday. During the day Thursday, it appears the precipitation will stay mostly snow and sleet north of a Lincoln, Bangor, Skowhegan line, with more in the way of mixed precipitation and rain south of that line, including the greater Bangor area toward the coast.  We will also experience some gust winds with this system Wednesday night into the day Thursday.

After that low expect some quiet conditions for Friday and the weekend, with some milder air arriving at the start of the new week.
