Trained navigators will be available to walk patients through the process. The navigators are being paid by a federal grant and must complete 20 hours of training which includes privacy issues. Navigators and trained volunteers will be available at dozens of locations through the state from libraries, community action offices and health clinics.

'That's a big piece of the project to actually help people understand what this marketplace means and what is available to them for insurances, and them if people are in need to sit down and actually help them through the application process,' said Karen Turgeon of The Opportunity Alliance.
