No fancy tricks required here to reap the major benefits of the silks. Instructor Wendee Rogerson tells us that with the aid of gravity and the fabric you are really able to let your joints open. The class becomes resorative allowing you to go further into stretches and back bends than you would normally go to in a traditional mat class. Not an experienced yogi? That's okay! This class is a great way to help understand the different poses.
